Amy Joanne Robach born on February 6, 1973, and spent her early life in different places, firstly at St. Joseph, Michigan. But soon she found herself growing up in places like East Lansing, Michigan, and later, St. Louis, Missouri. Then, her family packed up again and went to Georgia, where she went to high school and college, her aunt and uncle were teachers at her high school and were into performing arts. 

Amy graduated from Brookwood High School in Snellville, Georgia, and tried to do well at the University of Georgia. What is the different achievement she has made that made her apart from others? Amy was the fourth runner-up in the 1995 Miss Georgia pageant! So, before becoming a famous TV personality, her teenage years took her to various places. Career

Amy Robach started her career at WCBD in 1995 before moving to WTTG in Washington, D.C. Then, she spent four years at MSNBC and began doing various jobs like morning anchor and substitute on shows like Weekend Today, Countdown with Keith Olbermann, and Morning Joe. Fortunately, she became Weekend Today’s co-anchor in July 2007. But in May 2012, Amy decided to increase her fame and for this purpose she joined ABC News. She became a correspondent for Good Morning America and later co-anchored 20/20 in 2018 on ABC. 

Furthermore, Amy began hosting “Epidemic: What You Need To Know” which was focusing on the COVID-19 pandemic. ABC was in trouble because they didn’t show an interview with Virginia Roberts Giuffre, where she talked about how Jeffrey Epstein did bad things, like sex trafficking. Robach shared that she had breast cancer, and went through surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, and reconstructive surgery. Good news is, she’s free of cancer in March 2022. They got engaged in 2009 and married on Amy’s 37th birthday in 2010, next to the Hudson River at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers. The reason behind this is Amy had a special connection with her GMA3 co-anchor, T. J. Holmes. Their divorce was finalized in March 2023.
