Emma Watson the renowned star known for her movies like “Little Women,” has been absent in films in 2019, but she revealed that she’s not retired yet stating “I don’t see myself as having stopped acting,” Watson, 33, told British Vogue in an interview. “I just see myself as wanting to do more things, like writing, directing, or producing.”
During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Watson discovered her hidden talents she explored her skills at writing and directing to use them to perfection she’s now even studying more about it.
In 2022, Watson directed her first short time for a Prada Fragrance ad campaign, and she’s willing to work on the projects she’s written in the future.
But Watson is not willing to return to acting soon, she acknowledges making films takes time and she wants to focus on the things she loves. Since her absence in the movies, Watson engaged in launching a gin called Renais in collaboration with her brother Alex. And is also engaged in promoting gender equality and sustainability.
Waston was seen in 2019 in a “caged” movie after the movie she took a break from acting as she felt that she didn’t have control over the projects she worked on and wasn’t happy about it.
One mega project recently Watson was involved in was a Harry Potter reunion special in 2022. Where she reunited with her Harry Potter Castmates including Danial Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Tom Felton.
