Sofia Vergara’s upcoming show “Griselda” is facing a lawsuit from the Real Griselda Blanco Family, in the series Sofia Vergara is portraying Griselda a Colombian woman drug lord, Blanco’s Adult Children, representing her estate has alleged unauthorized use of their family’s image and likeness in the show for that they are legally trying to stop the release of the show.
Griselda’s Son Michael filled the lawsuit, he claims that he provided interviews and details over the years to individuals working on developing his and his mother’s life story into a production from ’09 to 2022, all those interviews, insights, and details were provided was for show and book.
However, Michael Claims that the ‘Griselda’ show used all of his stories without paying him anything. The Lawsuit also states that Netflix exploited their family story, and used their insights and interview materials without seeking their permission violating their rights. Blanco’s family further alleges the use of their images and life story in the show without their consent, and they are seeking a court intervention to stop it.
