The couple shared their precious moments with the public through interviews and social media accounts. Later on, they decided not to share as much and were seen keeping their relationship more private. Rachel stated that she wanted to have control over how people see their relationship, and she aimed to protect it from public opinion

In an interview with E! News in November, Lindsay expressed their desire to start a family, acknowledging the challenges they were facing in the process. With no children to factor into the divorce proceedings, the divorce itself is a sad moment for both the husband and wife, but at least there’s less emotional damage the couple would be facing in terms of deciding who gets custody of the children
