In the latest news, Sofía Vergara stated in an interview with the Spanish newspaper El País revealing the actual reason for her divorce with her ex-husband Manganiello stating that they were not on the page on the family planning which ultimately led to their divorce.

In her interview, she said her marriage broke up due to the age difference as well as her husband being younger than her and he wanted kids and she didn’t want to be an old mom raising a baby could be unfair to the baby. But showed respect to the people who raised kids in old age or are willing to raise kids in the old age.

Vergara who already has a son Manolo with ex-husband Joe Gonzalez further said she has a son who is now 32 years old and she wants to be a grandmother instead of a mother at this age. She has opened herself up to a relationship but the partner has to come with his children. She further said “I’m almost in menopause; it’s the natural way of things,” she added. “When my son becomes a dad, let him bring the baby to me for a while, and then I’ll give it back to him and go on with my life; that’s what I have to do.”

After Vergara and Manganiello’s divorce, the couple has moved on, as Manganiello is in a relationship with the actress Caitlin O’Connor, while Vergara has been dating the orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman.
In Vergara’s previous interviews, she did not reveal the actual reason for the divorce but she did comment on the public reaction which was the total opposite of what she was expecting, the media went easy on her and did not ask many burning questions for which she was relieved not be handling additional stress from the media.
